50 claps from me. I love this stuff! Rational physics without math. I imagine the "heat death of the universe" would mean the evaporation of all energy. Heat is energy, and matter is energy. If the universe were ever to run out of energy everything would just disappear. Hence, your titled article.

And, yes, the universe is simultaneously infinitely large and infinitely small. Infinity is infinity. Eternity is eternity. Time and space are the same. The universe exists simply because it must exist.

I know I've said this before, Glenn, but to me it bears repeating. Spinoza was a supreme rationalist. Spinoza's god, or nature, was Einstein's god. Were he alive today, everything you've written he would simply take for granted. I think both of you have figured out "The Theory of Everything."
