A few quick comments from my personal peanut gallery:

Joe Biden is, always was and always will be, a self-described “gaffe-machine,” and a stutterer. Compared to Trumps incoherent and incessant ramblings and self-aggrandizing lies, I’ll take Joe any day of the week.

We Democrats hold ourselves to a higher standard. [See Gov. Cuomo and Sen. Franken to name just two.] We will criticize Biden just as Republican will never criticize Trump. I support President Biden’s foreign and domestic strategic objectives; the tactics maybe not so much. Regarding the Afghanistan withdrawal, the most succinct criticism I’ve heard and agree with I will repeat here: Our military should always be the last to leave the battlefield, our partners and allies always the first.

President Biden now has much ground to make up. Those of us who wholeheartedly support him and believe in him, believe that he is a good man who has the country’s best interests at heart and in mind.

God speed, Joe Biden. As long as you have our backs, we will have yours.
