A plutocrat advocating plutocracy. How surprising!

Republicans are the party of, by and for wealthy white heterosexual “Christian” men. No others need apply. The great irony of our democratic republic is that it was founded by wealthy white heterosexual “Christian” men whose vision was a government of, by and for the people – all the people; however imperfect it was at its founding.

Our Founding Fathers were well aware of aristocratic tyranny. They had just fought a bloody revolution against the oppression of the British Crown and Parliament. They designed a new government which at its very core was meant to promote the general welfare and guarantee freedom from tyranny. Whether by one person or by a majority.

People like Koch and the so-called Freedom Caucus are anathema to America’s founding ideals. They are anathema to progress toward “a more perfect union.” Their Ayn Randian ideals are a dystopian nightmare of plutocratic tyranny.

They, are the “takers.”
