A shame that the nation which produced Keynes and led to post-WWII prosperity abandoned tried and true economic principles for the sugarcoated lies of nationalism and monetarism.

For all of our faults, thank the gods that Obama was and Biden is a Keynesian. Economics is a dismal science and policy disputes will seesaw back and forth for generations to come. I am not an economist but one simple truth is known to anyone who has ever grown anything: If you want to grow something, nourish the roots. The flowers will be sure to follow.
