America: Our ‘experiment in democracy’ is failing miserably. America, where we worship guns and ignorance, where we mindlessly chant “We’re Number One!” and issue death threats to anyone who would disagree. America, where we attack our own capitol and call it patriotism. America, where we are self-sorting along ideological lines, condemn things we do not understand; we ignore crises and create intractable problems for our progeny to deal with even as we claim we so love our children.

I am exhausted by our stupidity. Our Kardashian Kulture encourages us not to think beyond big boobs and an enormous booty. Today, one senator killed Build Back Better sentencing countless Americans to more poverty and hopelessness while he drives his Maserati to his next coal lobbyist payoff.

Our degradation is as endless as it is endlessly celebrated. America: Our 'experiment in democracy' is failing miserably.
