As one approaches the speed of light time slows down. Only photons travel at the speed of light so one assumes that time stops for photons. Photons never die and time becomes irrelevant. One might therefore assume that if photons could travel faster than light they would go back in time. But this is absurd because photons are light and logically cannot travel faster that themselves. If they did, they would disappear.
