As with Jefferson, I don’t burden myself by obsessing about Jesus’s divinity. The Beatitudes and his command to love thy neighbor as thyself is enough for me to call myself, not a “Christian,” but a “Jesusian.” As a recovering Catholic, I want nothing to do with that church. Jesus taught the world that there was a new and different way to live:
All you need is love.
I don't care whether or not Jesus was God, it is clear enough that God was in Jesus.
