Ballotpedia: "There were 14 Republican-held U.S. House districts up for election in 2022 that Joe Biden (D) won in the 2020 presidential election."

Here's a scenario. Suppose just a few of these 'moderate' Republicans [the number depending on McCarthy's and Santos's viability] decide they've had enough of the Crazy Clown Caucus and declare their Independence. They could partner with Democrats at will, and control the entire House agenda. They could choose one of their own moderates as Speaker, then work with Dems to advance legislation to fund the government, support Ukraine, etc., all for the good of country over party.

They could end the power of crazies, and even end Trumpism. They'd likely split the Republican Party and assure Democratic victories in 2024.

What are the chances?
