But wait…it gets even crazier. Under the 12th Amendment, if there is a tie in the EC, the election for President goes to the NEW House seated on January 3. If a majority of the statehouses are controlled by Republicans, Trump will be elected President!

But wait…it gets even crazier. The 12th Amendment also mandates that the Vice Presidential be elected SEPARATELY by the NEW Senate. If Democrats win back the Senate, they will elect Biden as Vice President!!

So then, come January 20, 2021, we could actually have a President Trump AND a Vice President Biden!!!

Does anyone think this is a good way to run a democratic republic?
