DeSantis is America’s fascist in waiting. He’d make Mussolini proud of his Italian legacy.

And, oh, the irony! DeSantis wants to ban books like 1984, and no doubt Fahrenheit 451 which is all about a dystopian society banning books. He’s already banned Critical Race Theory, which is an intellectual study of how advancements in racial equality are met with a backlash of new legislative oppressions. Case in point: the DeSantis administration banning CRT. He’s banning the study of a study.

He’s taking away the right of parents to broadly educate their kids in the name of the right of parents to narrowly educate their kids – only in line with DeSantis’ approval. So much for the ‘free and open exchange of ideas.’

More irony: Any parent can report a ‘pornographic’ book to the DeSantis Inquisition for banning books. Have you ever read the Old Testament? It should be first in line for banning from a child’s required reading list since it is replete with detailed and disturbing stories of rape, incest, adultery, child abuse, sex abuse, torture, and yes, homosexuality. So, why isn’t the Bible banned for its disgusting content?
