Excellent synopsis of a complex mind synthesizing other complex minds. The lines of delineation are clear yet considered together they present a comprehensive matrix of the history of early philosophies; the contrasts and complements speak to each other rather than argue with each other. They lead us to a deeper, dispassionate understanding.

Thank you for one of the clearest essays on the influence of Aristotle and many others on medieval Roman Catholic thought, and consequently how that intellectualism influenced Western Civilization. It is important to understand how we got to where we are.
