Finally. A cogent, dispassionate, non-mystical analysis of the final days of Jesus in Jerusalem. I’ve often thought a scenario like this would make the most logical sense. Ironic, too, that the man who was executed as a threat to the Empire would, centuries later, be the force used to hold the Empire together before it was used to supplant it. Jesus never achieved the goal of earthly paradise, but, as with our own Declaration of Independence and Constitution, the essence of his philosophy inspires generation after generation to at least aspire to a greater good.
