Gov. Newsom is one of my top three choices. I'm watching them all as each seems poised to easily win their primaries and win in November. And hopefully, one in November 2024 as I think Biden will be exhausted and the Democratic Party will be ready to move on.

Here they are, IMHO, the top three contenders for our next President:

California Gov. Gavin Newsom

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer

Pros: All three are smart, strong, fearlessly progressive, and ready to take on the reprehensible Republican nominee for president, whoever that might be because there is nothing but reprehensible Republicans.

Cons: Newsom, we already have a Blue California; Hochul, we already have a Blue New York.

Super Pro: Whitmer, we need a Blue Michigan.

Super Duper Pro: Whitmer VP running mate, Ohio’s Sen. Sherrod Brown. We got Ohio before and with a VP Sherrod Brown and a Sen. Tim Ryan we can get Ohio again.

Imagine. With a Blue California, Blue New York, Blue Michigan, and Blue Ohio, WE CAN NOT LOSE.
