And although I generally despise conspiracy theories, there is a possibility that pollsters are adjusting Trump up in view of the 2022 Red Trickle. It's also possible that Trump's rabid supporters, the basement dwellers who live online, are somehow pumping up the polls.

Lastly, there may be evidence of the Silent Harris Voters. Those who fear planting yard signs for the obvious reason. And those who profess Trump publicly but in the silent privacy of casting their ballot may gleefully do so for Harris instead.
