I like it – in my dreams. But in reality, it’s a very bad idea. It would demean Biden’s legacy as someone who is NOT vindictive. It would demean Harris’s legacy as someone who is NOT deceitful. History would be appalled. Let Trump prove his own legacy as the one who is vindictive and deceitful.

When Harris, as president of the Senate, certifies Trump as president of the United States, she will stand tall as with Al Gore who continued America’s proud constitutional tradition of the peaceful transfer of power, in sharp contrast to Trump who disgracefully and singularly did not. History will judge Trump correctly.

Lastly, Biden should break his promise not to pardon Hunter, who has been the real victim of Republican “lawfare.” No person of compassion would hold it against President Biden if he did, the man has suffered enough personal tragedy for a lifetime. Let him be. Only the most reprehensible of the MAGA base would whine and complain, and that would only serve to reinforce who and what they are. We know their type.
