I think you missed the target by 2,000 years. Jesus may have been a threat to the Romans two millennia ago, but today Jesus is a threat to "Christians," and deservedly so.

His message, "thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself," is lost on American political "Christians." It is mocked as politically correct, it is mocked as Woke. They worship today's Caesar and believe his lies are truth, they follow him with blind faith; a false god, a golden calf, a graven image.

If Jesus were alive today, I doubt he'd be alive for long.
