I took a slightly different approach. Everybody in my office knows I'm the proud gay liberal/progressive/woke/DEI/CRT/Democrat/democrat. They thought I'd be in tears Wednesday morning but instead I proactively greeted my pro-Trump co-workers including my boss [most were and are anti-Trumpers] with a, "Congratulations. Your guy won. He made a lot of promises and I'm just hoping for the best for our country."

Their reaction to me was conciliatory; "Are you alright?" and one even gave me a hug - which I accepted. They categorically repeated "the economy and the border." My plan is to bide my time. They were conned, they won't admit it, but they'll find out. Trump will surely remind them that he really is the asshole they've forgotten about. It's just a matter of time, and time is on my side.
