It reminded me of visiting the memorial fountains - the shear architectural brutality of the design was a most powerful reminder of that tragic day. Yet as I contemplated their meaning, my grief was assaulted by irreverent tourists, posing by the black granite pits smiling mindlessly for their selfies, willfully oblivious, self-absorbed.

I did not "enjoy" the piece. I was overwhelmed by it.
