It's too late already. Every administration "reset" is a step back. Every "existential threat" is abandoned for the next existential threat. Every "crisis" is addressed by clutching pearls.

I wanted, we wanted, Biden to be the new/old FDR. Remember those heady days after the inauguration, only to be pooh-poohed as the 'First 100 Days' myth.

In retrospect, it was 100 days of missed opportunities. That Biden, creature of Washington and the Obama White House, did not appreciate that is indicative of his approach to governance. Obama was mocked for 'leading from behind.' I'd even take that as an improvement over Biden.

I'm done. I'm for Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Should she win her primary and reelection impressively, she'll be the one to win in 2024. Tough, brave, smart, progressive. I'm for Gov. Whitmer.
