Meh. You still wouldn't get around the fact that a year is approximately 365.25 days, divided by approximately 29.5 days in a moon day, and a year divided into approximately 4 equal seasons (two equinoxes and two solstices) of approximately 3 months (or 3 moon days) each. Hence, the year divided into 12 approximately equal months seems to me to dovetail nicely with 12 hours in a day. Sorry.

Now, the metric system is a different story...
