No matter what, we can never get around infinity in space or eternity in time. If the BB is true, where was that singularity in space? What was before it? If the universe had a beginning, it must have an end. What happens then? Nothingness either before or after is still infinite nothingness. If the universe is finite, there will still be eternity.

It amuses me to see the BB portrayed as an ever-expanding balloon. What is beyond this balloon? Where is this balloon?

Even “nothingness” is something. We can never get around infinity in space or eternity in time. That's why it's called infinity, that's why it's called eternity.
