Oh, you humorous humans. We have been observing you anonymously for many of your centuries. Our planetary system is numerous million years older than yours, hence our civilization is thousands of your centuries older than your primitive civilizations. We have, you might say, grown up. We have survived and thrived for so long because we have learned to be one. You call it ‘gestalt.’ We have no war. We have no malice. We are content in our intellect.

We have no intention of visiting or colonizing your planet; we are not carbon-based. We find you fascinating, and we study you constantly. You are our hobby. Despite the vastness of the universe, intelligent beings, even as primordial as yours, are extremely rare.

We send our instruments across galaxies thru the principle of expanding space-time, obviating so-called ‘light-speed.’ Your fellow, Einstein, was on the right track. We communicate with our instruments employing what you call ‘quantum-mechanics.’ Your physicists are also on the right track. Should your civilization survive itself, it will take you myriad more generations of scientific research for you to comprehend the secret of gravity. Hint: It’s not what you think; you are on the wrong track. So, until you discover the unified field of space-time-gravity you will remain hopelessly lost. Lost in space, if you will pardon the meager pun.

Oh, as long as we are teasing you, we will give you another hint. We call what you call UFO/UAVs, ‘instruments’ because they are capable of exceedingly beautiful things. They inform us of you. They inform you of us, so subtly that you haven’t yet perceived that obviousness. Our instruments make art. They brighten your sky with patterned lights, they beguile you and mesmerize you. They make mathematical music with complex geometric designs on your agrarian surfaces. Our instruments traverse your exquisite planet and bestow upon you these stunning tokens. Look up and see our instruments. Look down and see our circles. We leave them everywhere across your world, our gifts to you, our symbols of peace, beauty, and harmony. When you are ready to accept, when you abandon trepidation and embrace the wonders of the universe, we will communicate.

Until then, we leave you to wander in wonder; and with that, our final jest.
