Spinoza is a dense read. A bit too much for my humble mind. I’ve collected over 135 pdf scholarly essays available on the web analyzing Spinoza’s thoughts and writings, unfortunately for me, most are equally dense. I have to pick and choose my subject matter carefully and read and concentrate in quiet time, I find this most rewarding. I continue to struggle with Spinoza but the more I discover him the more I discover myself. Spinoza’s concepts, it turns out, reflect my own personal beliefs more closely than I can express myself, especially regarding God’s infinite and eternal universe and of course, Nature. Spinoza's irreligious definition of God [Deus sive Natura] is truly unique.

I’ll keep reading my Spinoza, and I’ll keep discovering his genius.
