The Democrats of old are the Republicans of now, and vice versa. The change has been long in coming but embraced by Republicans the likes of DJT, aka Red Caesar, and Ron DeSantis, aka “Little Boots” Caligula. LBJ said, upon signing the Civil Rights Act of 1964, that Democrats lost the South for a generation, but it was the right thing to do. LBJ was off by about 60 years and counting.

Democrats today are far from perfect, but they are also far, far, far from the Republican Christian Nationalist philosophy, aka White Supremacy. If the ‘White Declaration of Independence’ were to be republished today on TwiXer, I daresay it would be celebrated by Trump, Elon, and Ye, as merely Free Speech. It might even make the next Republican Party platform.
