They lack logical thinking, and critical thinking, and any thinking at all. They have let their cult do the thinking for them. Groupthink is so much easier and gives them a sense of safety in numbers. It's highly unlikely that people deep in that mindset can come out of it when they are surrounded by their echo chamber, drowning out the truth.

They are zombies, lost souls.
