We are a culture that idolizes idiocy [see Donald Trump]; Kamala may be uncharismatic but she is not stupid. Our Kardashian-Kulture cannot think beyond a bumper-sticker slogan and our deep thought process is restricted to 280 characters. The beltway ‘Common Wisdom’ is accepted without question and any rebuttal is dismissed as irrelevant. Context is merely a ruse. To wit: “Do not come.”
