When Obama became president, I had hoped he would go bold. The ACA was a step, but without a strong Public Option, it was a baby step. I was disappointed.

When Biden became president, I had hoped he would go bold. The American Rescue Plan was a step, but without reforming the filibuster, it too was a baby step. I am disappointed.

Do you know who were bold presidents? Reagan. W Bush. Trump. But, as expected, all in a regressive direction. Their supporters were NOT disappointed.

Now, Afghanistan. We progressives are leaderless. I, for one, am completely demoralized.
