Wisdom does come with age, but sometimes so does courage. The courage that knowing your own demise is only a few short years away, and you must face death. Biden knows personal tragedy and he knows death. He has courage and he has faith. Biden is a devout Catholic and no one can question his faith in Jesus because he does as Jesus commanded:
Matthew 6:5-15 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. … But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
My point is that Biden knows that he has limited time, in the presidency and on this earth, and he will not quit. He is focused. He is determined. He knows where he wants to lead America and he is determined to lead us to a better future. The words he kept repeating last night were telling: Opportunity. Fairness. The future, and, the time to act is NOW.
Republicans be damned if they cannot see America’s full potential, but Joe Biden can.
Matthew 16:23 “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
I love Joe Biden, too.
